SoreDrain™ PU‑80/90

Soremag hot-cast polyurethane

Drainage troughs, catch basins and outdoor cast parts

Developed by Soremag, SoreDrain™ PU‑80/90 is a hot-cast polyurethane engineered to withstand the harshest outdoor conditions found in road infrastructure. At 80 to 90 Shore A, it combines toughness, flexibility and environmental durability.

Key strengths
  • Environmental resistance — UV, moisture, standing water and road contaminants (salt, oil, gasoline)
  • Mechanical toughness — strong abrasion, tear and compression resistance
  • Chemical and thermal stability — suited to extreme outdoor environments
  • Easy processing — low viscosity and good working time
  • Adjustable hardness — between 80 and 90 Shore A to match project requirements
  • Outdoor durability — built for exposed road infrastructure

Processing
  • Viscosity — low, for smooth casting
  • Working time — about 10 to 14 minutes
  • Recommended cure — 1 h at 100°C (212°F) + 16 h at 70°C (158°F), or 6 h at 100°C
Typical applications
  • Bridge drainage troughs
  • Exposed catch basins or collectors
  • Cast parts exposed to aggressive outdoor conditions
