Since 1990, Soremag has been bringing industrial rollers and wheels back to life: rubber or polyurethane covering, molding of polyurethane parts, metal machining and complete refurbishment — serving Eastern Canada.
Since 1990, Soremag has been an integrated service center: we cover rollers and wheels in rubber or polyurethane, we mold polyurethane parts and we machine metal — all in one place.
Over the years, customers in many sectors, all across Eastern Canada, have trusted us with their critical parts. Our strength is fixing the whole problem with a single point of contact: turnkey projects, from the diagnosis to the part ready to go back into production.
We control every step — mold design and fabrication, polyurethane molding, covering, grinding, grooving and quality control. And rather than replacing a worn roller, we often give it a second life: better for your costs and for the environment.
Everything under one roof: roll covering, polyurethane molding, metal machining, grinding and refurbishment — from the part we receive to the part ready to go back into production.
Casting of custom polyurethane parts — wheels, guide rollers, guides, pads and wear parts — to the durometer and geometry you need. See cast polyurethane parts →
Covering of rollers and wheels in rubber or polyurethane, then grinding and polishing to the required durometer and finish. See roller covering →
Precision grooving — diamond, spiral, herringbone or custom — based on what the roller actually does. See roller grooving →
A second life for your used wheels and rollers — see the detailed steps below. Diagnose wear →
Dimensional validation, hardness and surface finish at every stage of fabrication and refurbishment. See the QC7 system →
Over the years, Soremag has brought together the expertise of several rubber and polyurethane roller specialists.
An integrated roll covering, molding and machining center is born.
Soremag moves into a 6,000 sq. ft. plant in Laval.
Polymac, a rubber roll covering company, joins Soremag.
Some twenty compounds tested at Stone Consolidated — Cerathane is born (first named Sorethane Cer), and a $750,000 to $1.2M rail rebuild becomes unnecessary.
The polyurethane roller manufacturer transfers its customers and its expertise to Soremag.
The Laval plant grows to 8,500 sq. ft. to keep up with growth.
Another expansion: the plant reaches 13,000 sq. ft.
The rubber roll covering company transfers its customers and its expertise to Soremag.
In 2026, Soremag moves into more than 22,000 sq. ft. — nearly double — at the end of a modernization program.
