An OEM part to replace, an invention to bring to life or an off-the-shelf product to make last longer: we are the specialists who reproduce your part and improve it — in hot cast polyurethane, from a drawing, a sample or the worn part.
An OEM part that has been discontinued or priced out of reach, an invention prototype to bring into existence, an off-the-shelf product that does not last in your conditions: our specialty is to start from your part — drawing, sample or worn part — understand what it does, then reproduce it in cast polyurethane while correcting what was killing it. Better chosen hardness, formulation matched to the environment, reinforced geometry: from less than one gram to more than 2,500 lb, from 10 Shore A to 85 Shore D. Here are the families of custom parts we make regularly.
Eight of the most requested custom part families — and if yours is not there, we will evaluate it anyway.

Molded sealing elements — large O-rings, U-cups, V-rings, lip seals — to contain a fluid or keep contaminants out. The high mechanical strength of polyurethane extends the life of dynamic seals compared with many rubbers, and the formulation is chosen according to the fluid and the temperature, depending on the project.
Grooved pulleys and cable sheaves cast in polyurethane, on their own or overmolded on a steel hub : the polyurethane groove is easy on the cable and resists wear, the metal carries the load. Groove profile reproduced from your cable or your drawing. See overmolding on metal →
Coupling spiders, coupling pads and flexible elements that transmit torque while absorbing shock and misalignment. Polyurethane can also act as the sacrificial element: it is the part that gives way, not your shafts, depending on the design.
Liners and linings, cast or cut, to protect chutes, hoppers, bins and transfer points against sliding abrasion and impact. Bolted mounting or on a steel backing, curved shapes possible depending on the geometry of the equipment.
Guide rollers, cam followers and positioning wheels, with a bearing, a steel bushing or a machined bore. A tough, quiet polyurethane working surface that carries the product along without marking it — hardness chosen for the load and the speed.
Molded diaphragms and membranes for pumps, valves and actuators: thin parts that flex for thousands of cycles without cracking. The tear strength and the fatigue resistance of polyurethane make it an alternative to rubber membranes, depending on the fluid and the service.
Nozzles, tips and wear sleeves for abrasive flows — sand, shot, slurries, aggregates. Polyurethane resists erosion better than many metals in these services, and the part is replaced in a few minutes, depending on the design.
Caps, boots, rod protectors and molded covers that protect one specific component — threads, journals, sensors — against impact, abrasion and splashes. Molded to the exact shape of the part to be protected, from a drawing or a sample.
An OEM part, an invention, an off-the-shelf product to improve? Describe your part to us →
Simple stock shapes cast to your dimensions, in the hardness and the formulation that suit the job — to be cut or machined afterward, at your place or ours.
Cast to the thickness you need, for liners, cutting dies, pads and parts to be cut out.
Solid rods to be machined into bushings, guide rollers or turned parts, in the diameter you ask for.
Rectangular bars and simple profiles for wear strips, guides and stops to be cut to size.
We can deliver the raw stock shape or the finished part, machined to your tolerances, depending on the project.
Hardness from 10 Shore A to 85 Shore D, several colors — see the polyurethane chart →
Three application families where these custom parts prove themselves — and the industries where you find them.
Chute liners, guide rollers, pulleys and sheaves: parts that take the abrasion of transfer points and guide the product without marking it.
See the conveyor industry →Seals, diaphragms and membranes for pumps and valves, non-marking guide rollers for fragile containers: parts that last through washdowns and repeated cycles.
See food processing →Flexible couplings, wear nozzles, protective boots and standard stock shapes to machine: the support parts that keep a specialized machine in production.
See industrial manufacturing →In many cases, yes. Our pages present the most requested families, but custom molding covers far more ground: if the part can be cast in polyurethane within our capabilities (from less than one gram to more than 2,500 lb, hardness from 10 Shore A to 85 Shore D), we can evaluate it from a drawing, a sample or even a worn part, through reverse engineering.
Yes, depending on the project: sheets and plates, rods and bars can be cast to the dimensions you want, in the hardness and the formulation suited to the use — to be cut or machined afterward, at your place or ours.
Describe the function to us: what the part has to hold back, guide, seal or cushion, in what environment and how often. Depending on the project, we recommend the geometry, the hardness and the formulation (polyester, polyether or polycaprolactone) best suited, then we validate with you before casting.
Send a drawing, a sample or the worn part: we analyze it, we recommend the geometry, the hardness and the formulation that will make it last longer than the original — and we produce it, anywhere in Quebec and across Canada.
